Willis Bloomquist of this city acted as a Good Samaritan and stopped to aid a man lying by the road near Durant City. He was jumped by three assailants and badly beaten as the theft was carried out at about 11 20 last night. The attacker, a teenaged boy, fled after a struggle, leaving Bloomquist injured and the thief at large.
