Struck by motor truck injures Corry worker A P Smith

A P Smith, an employee of Corry company, was struck by a truck on West Main Street while watching unloading. He suffered a bruise near the left eye, knee and arm, and was dazed before being taken to hospital for medical attention. The driver maneuvered to avoid another man, leading to the incident.

Opening of Sol's united shows draws large crowd

A lively carnival opened on Washington street grounds drawing a large crowd. Ride devices including a merry go round and the Whip operated continuously with Espenito's Mallun Band providing music.
