Katherine Anne Cataliu and Gary Lee Johnson exchanged nuptial vows on June 22 at St. Thomas The Apostle Church with Rev. Cyril Cooper officiating. The ceremony featured a floor length white crepe gown and mantilla veil, a cascade of white carnations, and a VFW reception for 300. The couple will reside in Columbus as Miss Catalfu is a Corry Area High School graduate and Mr. Johnson a Kent State University senior majoring in marketing.

Local Girls Attend Fun on the Range Cooking Classes
The Pennsylvania Electric Company and community recreation program offer four day sessions for 170 girls weekly at Corry Area High School. Classes run June 24 to July 12 with two-hour sessions at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. led by Kathy Causgrove. Participants ages 8 to 12 learn kitchen appliance care and food prep, with weekly graduation ceremonies and Reddy Kilowatt pins.
