Warren County Elections Board Acts on Missing Campaign Filings

In a special session the Warren County Board of Elections ordered actions against candidates who failed to file required campaign expenses. W. Robert Walsh urged prosecutions. Tony Tomassoni James Marsh Ellis L Martin John Teconchuk Sidney Mason John Fargo Don Armagast faced penalties with filings due June 15. Incumbents Mead Crippen filed late. A separate notice details a North East motor crash injuring 17 year old John Gartner after a tractor left turning into his car.

Four killed in Bradford two car crash on Route 646

Four people died in a head on collision on Route 646 at Cyclone nine miles south of Bradford. Victims include George W. Shick 58 and his son David 17 plus Robert D. Shick 27 and Harold C. Warters 65. Warters was alone in his car. Coroner Gale Hollenbeck said both crashes occurred about 1 20 am. Warters car crossed center line speeds 50 mph Shick car 45 mph. A newborn son arrived at Bradford City Hospital later Monday night.
