Sparta community notes and Strawberry Festival recap
Florence Sherlock and Mrs Kathryn Tillotson hosted guests over weekends. Meadville celebrations honored 88 year old Mrs Edna Evans, with Mr and Mrs Clinton Logan at the birthday dinner. A Strawberry Festival at the Sparta fire hall drew good crowds despite rain, with costume prizes and a quilt winner Bernie Skiff. Community events included church weddings, Senior Citizens meetings, the Goodwill reunion, and multiple family visits across Sparta, Corry, Meadville, and Erie regions. Get well wishes sent to local residents and a Jones family reunion planned at the Weidner camp.
