Miss Ann Marie Henton Weds Richard Shaw in Glowing Ceremony
In Jamestown at Evangelical United Methodist Church, Miss Ann Marie Henton and Richard Warren Shaw united in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev. H. Ray Harris. The bridal party wore formal gowns and the couple planned teaching careers in Ohio. After a lawn reception, out of town guests from Ohio, New York, and Ontario attended. Both honorees are Taylor University graduates set to teach in Hebron and Lakewood schools.

VEW Auxiliary Plans August Picnic and Convention Delegates
The VFW Ladies Auxiliary met with past president Mrs Clyde Reynolds. Delegates to the national convention in Philadelphia are Mrs William Roehrig and Mrs Reynolds alternates Mrs Maurice Porter and Mrs Mildred Sorenson. A picnic is planned for August 21 at Mrs Sorenson summer camp with meat and beverages provided and attendees to bring a tureen. The secretary Mrs Harold Schaefer reports Mrs Clarence Cox won a special gift.

State Lot School Holds 20th Annual Reunion
The 20th annual State Lot School reunion gathered 31 attendees under maple trees with 14 former pupils and one former teacher present.
