Worker killed in cave-in at Plymouth Meeting project

Utility Worker Killed by 12000 Volt Line Accident
John Hanley, 25, of Bradford, died after a flexible 12000 volt cable he was moving contacted a live line at Union City yard. He had worked two weeks for the contracting firm of Pennsylvania Electric Company and was helping load poles along Route 8 when the accident occurred.

Four sightseeing Americans including a chaplain and a woman were seized by armed Communist police at Dueppel near Zeblendorf on the East zone border and taken to a Soviet military post in Madinow. 16 year old James valitors Hobor of Clymer was dragged about 40 feet when a hay rake pulled by two horses broke loose. He was treated at Cory Medical Hospital for bruises and possible injuries and is reported in good condition. His father is Mrs. Neil Peck and he was driving a cumbly cache on the Maynard Dameot farm when he fell and the rake struck him.
