Clarion State debaters place at Marshall-Wythe Tourney
Renee Edwards and Missy Staples of Clarion State College won tournament honors at the 21st annual Marshall-Wythe Debate Tournament held at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. Their team reached octafinals after power-matched rounds against 12-state teams, defeating Duke Central Michigan South Carolina King’s College and St Anselms before losing to Virginia. They advanced to octafinals by topping Wheaton and fell in quarterfinals to West Virginia, earning a pewter bowl for reaching the quarterfinals.

Living With Kids Program to Begin at Concord School
A new Living With Kids discussion group for mothers launches February 11 at 1 30 p m in the Concord School library. Meetings will run weekly on Tuesdays, with guidance counselors Sheila Thompson and Jean Gool coordinating. Mothers are asked to RSVP with contact details, number of children, and preschool children for planning, and a preschool day care facility will be offered for participating families with no obligation.

Seventeen members met at Fire Station No 1 to plan bake sale on March 24 chaired by Mrs Shreve and Mrs Logan and a September 15 card party at the Moose Lodge led by Mrs Slike and Mrs Barr. Numerous volunteers named for publicity tickets decorations dining room kitchen door prizes and prizes. A February 10 meeting date was set with a follow up get-together after. Ballet Pros Sought Banff Center audition tour targets intermediate to young professionals across Canada seeking performance oriented dancers.
