Start Search for Missing Elk County Youth
Ridgway January 31 a search began to locate Arthur Henick age twenty three of Ridgway who vanished Saturday evening after leaving his aunt Mrs Work’s home with about seven five on his person. Police Chief James Lever said the investigation is active as sister is in Rochester and Pittsburgh. Henick is described as five feet eleven inches tall, about 150 pounds with brown wavy hair, last seen in army wool leggings gray cap and wool shirt.

Salamanca Man Suffers Gun Mishap In Accident
A 25 year old Salamanca man from West State Street was injured Monday when a .22 caliber rifle discharged while loading. He was taken by ambulance to Warren General Hospital with four gunshot wounds to the right side near the hip. The incident occurred at the home of Ernest Mc Straw in Smith Dormers, where Crisp had been visiting. His condition is reported to be serious.
