Man Drowns in Freak Car Crash Mishap at Route 146
Kane Jan 30 Clermont resident Gearhart Anderson, 1, was thrown from a car after it ran off Route 146 between Wilcox and Smethport. He drowned beside the roadside wreck after striking the water. Driver Joseph Burns of Sharon, hospitalized with minor injuries, was unconscious.

Mrs Lynn Chaffee dies at rural home
Mrs Lynn Unquee died at her residence in Rural Route 1 Corry at noon yesterday after a prolonged illness. Survived by her son Milton four sisters and a brother two grandchildren. Funeral services at I J Musser Funeral Home Union City Wednesday at 2 p.m. with ministers George Muilvin and Francis Whiteman officiating. Burial in Beaverdam Cemetery.

Survived by husband three daughters Mrs Allene Kuhl Mrs Bessie Obert and Mrs Mildred Schuetz, a son R D 4ason, four sisters and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral Wednesday at 2 PM at Edinboro with burial in Surrettania family lot.
