A note was found but its contents were not released. He had been despondent Thursday night and underwent treatment from physicians and his psychiatrist as friends and family gathered. The shooting occurred about 3 30 a m as he reached into the sofa and fired an automatic pistol. His wife Katherine had filed for divorce last month and they have a 14 month old son.

Two Hurt in Bear Lake Route 957 Crash
A two car collision at 11245 last night near Columbus caused minor injuries to two people and about 1800 dollars in vehicle damage.
