Meadville Boy Dies After Coastin Crash
In Meadville a fatal coastin accident on North Main Street claimed 11 year old Robert Fitch son of Mr and Mrs Warren Mitch. A sled crashed into a telephone pole as a steep hill determined the crash outcome. A passerby Helen Hotchkin stopped to help but the boy died before medical help arrived. He was described as a dear boy and the only child of his parents.

Wattsburg Road Completion Discussed by Officials
Erie county commissioners and township supervisors meet to plan completing the Wattsburg road from the end of the current Wattsburg road to Wattsburg borough. A paved segment about a quarter mile long was built last summer and further work is to be reviewed. The group plans a tentative session with Union township on future paving. no promises on 1928 road work until after talks with the governor and state highway commissioner in February.
