Mail Pouch Mail Pouch Mutilated On Lake Shore Road
A mail pouch from the Lake Shore road was badly chopped and received at the local post office on Monday. The pouch fell under a fast mail train at Westfield and was torn by wheels. One letter addressed to the Journal was shredded though contents remained intact. An additional special delivery letter reportedly contained a two dollar bill and was mutilated.
