Pa Property Tax Relief Hits Snags In Pa
Harrisburg reports a hastily drafted flood relief tax plan is mired in delays and ambiguities. Officials warn flood damaged homeowners to expect long waits for 1972 refunds as guidelines are drafted. The act aims to rebate 1972 taxes and ease 1973 and 1974 bills, but lost federal funds and loopholes threaten funding and eligibility. Local officials urge action as hoops and delays continue.
