In Caracas the ruling junta ousted two police officers tied to the fallen regime and earned a pledge of support from the patriotic group. Bodies Found Of Fire Victims In Tenement Blaze

Workmen in the ruins of a South Side tenement recovered charred remains of four children amid a deadly explosion fire Thursday morning. Fire Damages Molded Fiber Glass Boat Co in Union City

A $20,000 fire at the Molded Fiber Glass Boat Co in Union City damaged $15,009 worth of mahogany sheeting and $5,000 of the building. Firefighters fought the blaze for about an hour after it began between 2 and 4 a.m. An employee left at 2 a.m and another at 4 a.m. The drill sawdust and air accumulation fed the fire, which is not expected to affect the company’s schedule. About 100 workers are employed there.

Auto Crash Kills Two Near Clarion

Two young men died in a route 68 collision on East Brady hill near East Beauly. Richard L. Russel, 23, of Rumersburg perished instantly. passenger Paul Leslie Button, 24, of East Brady, died hours later at Clarion Osteopathic Hospital.
