Ligonier Boy Killed In Police Chase
A Somerset County youth, Ronald Hemmilinger, 18, was killed when his car collided head on with a tractor trailer during a police chase after Latrobe police surprised him and two others while allegedly attempting to steal a tape player. The truck driver was unhurt.

Erie County and its employes begin bargaining with the American Federation of State County and Municipal Employes.
