Hunt continues for armed robber at Preston's Esso
Police search for a medium build armed bandit who robbed 3100 at Preston's Esso Service Station on Route 19 south of the Thruway Sunday morning. The robber wore a nylon face covering, a large hat with ear flaps, and a shabby jacket while threatening attendant Davie Swiderski, 21, and locking him in a storage area. Swiderski's key unlocked the cash drawer as the robber fled, and authorities note a possible link to another crime.
