Police search for Albert Tatleben a man accused of stabbing his father in law Vominie Ragazzo during a quarrel over treatment of Tatleben’s wife. Ragazzo suffered a deep gut wound and was taken to Hamot Hospital where doctors expect recovery. An ambulance transported the injured man and Tatleben to the hospital after the incident outside 42 Huron Street.
Meadville Jan 20 court adjourned as the Logan case in Cambridge Springs neared its end with Judge Prather preparing to submit the charge to the jury Tuesday morning. A Monday afternoon session heard witnesses and attorneys’ summations. Juries were sworn for a Linesville matter and a separate case involving a township injury claim seeks 7000 dollars for a buggy accident on March 14, 1812, linked to alleged vehicle failure.
Harrisburg January 20 a state appropriation large enough to permit all trips of instruction and rival development in the Agricultural Department will be asked of the Legislature to Pennsylvania State College this year. This was decided today at a meeting of the Board of Trustees and the Legislative committee. In 1911 eight hundred thousand dollars was appropriated but this year’s request will exceed that sum. The appropriation alone for agricultural development in 1911 was two hundred twenty five thousand one hundred nine dollars.
