Erie County December jobs hit record high amid growth
Erie’s December employment reached 117,700, the highest December level on record, 300 below November’s peak. Labor office chief James A. The jobless rate sits at 5 percent, equal to the state, below the national rate, while shop employment slips 200 from November.
