Pomona Master Visits Grange Meeting Notes
Members of the Corry Grange met at the Grange Hall on Park Street with John Decker in charge. Plans were made to donate Christmas cards and contribute articles for the Cub Scouts glass drive. Jessie Erickson installed Mrs. John Decker as Pomona Grange treasurer. The program included songs, a reading, two talks, a magic trick, a skit, and a laughing contest. Refreshments followed. The next meeting is set for February 7.

A five and a half table Howell game highlighted yesterday's Tuesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club session at the YMCA. Winners included Mrs. Arthur Hansen and Mrs. T H Treat at 60 percent, Mrs. Pi Bartholomew and Mrs. T A Hubley at 66 percent, Mrs. Edith Brickner and W E Dodds at 64 percent, Mrs. Martin Pfinsgraff and Rosalie Williams at 62 percent, and Mrs. Donald Hall and William Master Jr. at 54 percent. Ten new members were welcomed, and next week's session will host a regular game with reservations via Mrs. John Pierce.

Market Day Set For February 5th Concord PTA Event
The Concord School PTA hosts Market Day on February 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. General chairmen are Mrs. Lawrence Aldrich and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Lawson with Mrs. Robert McCormick. Features include movies, cake walk, grab bags, fish pond, bazaar items, baked goods, games, soft drinks, popcorn, a luncheon, coffee, balloon man, pick-a-pocket lady, and sandwiches. Tickets cost 25 cents for grades three to six. purchases do not require tickets. The public is invited for entertainment and concessions. this is the PTA's annual fund-raiser.
