Ford stock tale crowns sisterly trust in brothers
A Corry newspaper excerpt recounts how Rosetta Mauss lent $100 to her brother James Coveens, who invested in Henry Ford's motor venture in 1908. Over 16 years dividends and stock reshaping yielded nearly three quarters of a million dollars, illustrating the power of sisterly faith in a risky enterprise. The piece muses on prudence versus risk and notes that safer, loan-free holdings are often wiser.
