Corry Day picnic plans set for Kissimmee Florida
Corry Day organizers announced the 1977 annual picnic to be held Saturday February 12 at 12 noon at the Kissimmee Youth Center. A chicken barbecue with all the trimmings will cost 2.25. Reservations due by February 5 to chairman Fred Casler P O Box 1365 Kissimmee Florida 2741 or by phone 1 805 425 2580 Orlando. Reservations should include a check. Last year about 200 Corry residents and neighbors attended, making it a reunion event.

A recipe for chicken curry served in hollowed pineapple shells with Polynesian Rice. It uses bacon, onion, green pepper, flour, curry powder, salt, chicken stock, cream, chicken, peas, water chestnuts, and pimiento. Cook until thickened, heat through, and spoon into pineapple shells.
