Snowy Rural Roads Trigger Two Corry Area Crashes
Two auto crashes occurred on snow covered rural roads near Corry yesterday. Dennis C. Rater of Mead Avenue backed from a private driveway on a Concord Township road and collided with Ronald B. Burrows of Elgin after Burrows’ car swerved to avoid the lead vehicle. Damages were 50 dollars to the Rater car and 356 to the Burrows car. The second crash on Spencer Road in Columbus Township involved Marilyn M. Powers of R.D.2 Corry losing control and hitting a parked car owned by Daniel L. Joyce of Seota Village, spinning and hitting it again. Damages were 175 to the Powers car and 100 to the Joyce auto. No injuries reported.
