Manson brings list of motions into court
Cult leader Charles Manson appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court wearing a red velveteen shirt to present motions as his own counsel. He sought to form a jailhouse “Family of Infinite Soul Inc.” and asked for a continuance, a plea to reveal DA evidence, a cross examination book, unlimited jail calls, a cell tape recorder, a private investigator, and fewer visitor photos. Several motions were granted or denied as Judge Dell cautioned on identification. Also noted was a school grant in Harrisburg for the Rankin District providing about 40 youth employment opportunities.
