Rejection Debate Over State Aid and PTA Food Service
Discussion centers on rejecting Federal aid for cafeteria operations. Critics cite menus and tray standards tied to aid, profit restrictions, and cash handling. Superintendent Dewey says PTA serves about 190 daily at the Senior High and 60–70 at the Junior High, running smoothly on a self supporting basis. Some backers argue there is little sense in continuing WPA support if it is unnecessary.
