Paul Petrillo a 45 year old South Philadelphia tailor condemned for a murder for insurance ring that operated in four states will gain a life case review before the pardon board on January 29. He claimed innocence at first then pled guilty hoping to secure life. He said he had only a minor post as a go between for Morris Evil Eye Bolber who pleaded guilty. Assistant DA Vincent McDevitt said at least two others were involved and possibly more. Judge Albert S. Millay died during the Petrillo case, and Petrillo argued the later jurists misapplied the degree of guilt.
