Warren Police Investigate Shooting Of Corry Man
Warren police probe a shooting at Warren YWCA that wounded Richard J. Fairchild 22 of 405 East Pleasant Street. He said two white women 29 to 30 years old armed with a pistol shot him after he aided them with a flat tire near Route 6. He identified a blue 1956 two door sedan with an unlisted plate as their vehicle. Fairchild was sedated after hospital admission as officers sought to question him and the two women. Authorities warned they could be charged with assault and battery with intent to do serious bodily harm.
