Campaign for Erie County TB Hospital Initiated
An Erie County Tuberculosis Hospital committee formed at a Tuesday night meeting in the M C A with Dr G A Reed as president and J Kenneth Winters as secretary. Reed warned of acute TB bed shortages and faulted the county poor farm and Dobler hospital for being inadequate. The group will seek a suitable hillside site south of Exte near the city. Dr Katherine Law Wright of the State TB clinic urged a county hospital, noting long waits at the State sanatorium and child exposure to TB.
