Stanley H. Nichols of 418 Prank Jin Street died in Corry Hospital at 4:40 p.m. yesterday. He was 82 years of age. He leaves a family and local ties. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Nichols family.
John Nichols a longtime Corry resident and Mead Park Association president died after a weeks long illness in hospital. He had worked 17 years for Garry Water Co and previously in insurance with Hubert Meerlein and Williams agency. He served as a civ ic leader, past Kiwanis and Masonic officer, and was active in Mead Park development. He leaves wife Marguerite and children Jeanne and David, plus his mother. Funeral at Methodish Church with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Seven residents receive named shares in the Concord Bay estate of Loon E Biakeside. Probate at Erie county court lists heirs including Mrs Mati Blakeslee and Howard Blakester plus others from Corry and nearby towns. Estate valued at about 510,000 in personal property and real estate in Concord.
Donald McCaslin age 16 son of Mr and Mrs Frank McCaslin of 912 West Pleasant street was injured when his bicycle collided with a parked truck at Fifth avenue and West Pleasant street around 10 am.
