Washington Jan 5 The Interstate Commerce Commission released its annual report noting a substantial rise in freight and passenger traffic from 1933 to 1934 yet total operating revenues for the first nine months of 1934 reached only 46 percent of the 1923 25 base. Expenses grew faster than revenues due to restoration of a 10 percent wage cut for railroad workers and railroads face continued strain depending on traffic revival.
