Veterans Administration reports drop in costs under revised relief system
The annual report by Brig. Gen. Frank T. Hines shows a drastic revision of veterans relief with the VA aiming to cut about 88 million dollars from this year’s expenses. Net disbursements totaled 868,688,079, including 35,189,479 for annuities and refunds.
