County Adds Fourth Leased Car To Fleet
Erie reports Eric Coanl added a fourth leased car to the county fleet amid minority Commissioner Leo Weir’s protest. David DeHaven, the commissioners’ business administrator, will receive the new auto, joining Louis Rzymek and William Hill who already use county autos, with A. J. Gehrlein having one recently. Weir claims the cars were bid items and says the program now exceeds 1500 dollars, warning officials may all demand cars next. The motion to approve DeHaven’s auto passed after Hill’s initial delay and Rzymek’s support, with Weir voting no.

The county has until February 12 to appeal to the Director of the Office of Revenue Sharing in Washington.
