Ernest Babcock dies at Union City after long illness
Ernest Babcock of R D 3 Cory died today in Stem Memorial Hospital Union City after six months illness. A Michigan native, he lived in Cory and Union City areas for about 80 years and was a retired farmer. Survived by daughter Mrs Reed Brown and two other daughters Mrs Kenneth Reed and Mrs Toon McCraty, a son Glenn Babcock, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services at Free Methodist Church Union City at 4 pm Thursday. Burial in Beaverdam Cemetery.
