Erie Gambler Gets 90 Days in Erie County Prison
One of four Erie men tied to a city and state lottery ring pleaded guilty in county court before Judge Elmer Day. Anthony Patsy was sentenced to 90 days in Erie County Prison and fined $300. Also pleading guilty were Albert Lush and Robert Fink, with Lush receiving an indefinite term at Camp Hill Industrial School and Fink a $100 fine plus three days in jail for drunken driving. The case against the Millers remains held in aldermanic court. Miller prints result sheets at Muller Printing Co. in Erie. Hilda McMurdy John Wasitko and Chare Shantell were complainants.

Hair tonic phobia grounds for divorce in brief notice
A Wilmington area court grants divorce to a woman who testified her husband had a hair tonic phobia and spent at least 300 dollars on hair tonic then threw shoes and whiskey glasses at her. Four other divorces were granted Thursday, including Jessie Jones George of Erie who said his wife Sarah Pleasant George deserted him despite his being a “perfect husband.”
