The Erie Railroad shifted the assistant engineer office of the Allegheny division to Hornell as part of a corps consolidation across Allegheny Buffalo and Susquehanna divisions. Ransom Dyke and George Metaman were transferred. Dyke had already moved his family to Hornell. Doyle Death Shocks Chicago National Leave Team
