Stanford Hose Company held its annual New Year open house at City Hall with members of all ages enjoying a daytime party from 11 to 5. The event featured food, socializing, and a planned visit by the full membership to the club rooms later in the day. A matronly supper supervisor and a Red Cross nurse were noted among organizers, with plans for a guest talk midday and an afternoon program in the weekroom.
