The Admiralty reports two hundred and seventeen of the cruiser Province’s crew landed safely at Malta with about eight hundred saved from the sinking. Earlier notes indicate the vessel carried eighteen hundred marines and may have been torpedoed or hit a mine. Four hundred survivors were landed at Feke and two hundred ninety six crew remained in Malta. The Province, an 18 000 ton ship, was cruising in the area when disaster struck.

Kempton West Virginia February 29 six miners were killed and ten others entombed by a dust explosion in Mine No 2 of the Davis Colliery Company. Funeral for Tate L. G. Davin Held at East Columbus

The funeral for Tate L. G. Davin was held this afternoon from the home on East Columbus Avenue. Rev. Hratford officiated. many relatives and friends attended from the city and visitors from out of town. pallbearers included Arthur King, Monry Bennatt, Robert Alesander, L. American murdered by Mexican authorities near Dijraiko

A U S embassy advisory reports an American named Grover Yorn was killed last night about twenty five miles east in Dijraiko Mexico. The State Department received word that the crime was committed by a man described as Vinstag, part of a labor faction from Amon in Mesto Oly.
