Work Starts on Pennys Big Span
The American Bridge Company began erecting a new 350 foot steel span for the Pennsylvania Railroad west of the city. About 50 workers, under engineer in charge Hoss of Pittsburgh, will assemble the overhead bridge over the Erie line near Lovell, with plans to employ 200 more over the next two months.
