Space Woes Hit Erie County Assessment Bureau
Erie County officials faced new space problems as the expanded assessment program, supported by 1955 budget funds of about 50000 for improvements, outgrew the bureau. County Commissioner Fred Lamberton noted only two offices on the same floor could be moved, urging basement stays unused for space. The assessment expenditures drive the uniform revision program in high gear.
