The U S force Italian high command announced a first clash between Navilana units and British armored forces near Agedabia in Libya. Three persons injured when a blaze destroyed a home near Bradford Pennsylvania at Bell Camp five miles north. Mr and Mrs C M Shafer were treated for burns on the face hands and body while a son suffered minor burns. Firefighters from Bradford could not determine the fire’s origin after the Shafer family tried to remove furniture from the burning building.
