Youth Rescued From Air Shaft After 12-Hour Plunge
James Anderson, 20, fell nearly twelve stories into an air shaft at 121 East 24th Street and survived after emergency squads broke through walls. He was wedged between pipes in a narrow 18 by 5 foot shaft, suffering possible broken limbs and back injuries. Police traced the incident to a burglary attempt via skylight from the building.

The United States expects its second nuclear submarine Sea Wolf to launch within two to three months.
