County to conduct mass chest X ray survey across Erie County
Directors of the Erie County Tuberculosis Association approve a two year county wide mass chest x ray survey with 75 000 as the funded limit. The program co sponsored by the State Health Department and the Pennsylvania Department of Health will survey Erie city Mill Creek Wesleyville and Lawrence Park this spring with Corry and the remaining areas examined next year. Dr Myzianowski notes county wide screening cannot be done this year due to resource limits.

Corry approves ordinance on removing large obstructions from streets
City of Corry Pennsylvania adopts a measure banning leaving or parking objects of substantial size in streets highways alleys or parking lots for more than twenty four hours. Officials may remove tow or store such items with fees charged to owners and sale if unpaid. Penalties include fines from 10 to 100 dollars or up to 30 days in jail. The ordinance, adopted February 19 1951, is enacted by Mayor Fred Kinley and City Clerk Don D Williams.
