Wright of Corry received an annulment on grounds her husband James Henry Wright was previously married and the marriage invalid. Also reported were a railroad bridge project proposal by the Pennsylvania Railroad with the Army Engineer’s office, thefts and recovered property, real estate transfers, a forger arrested in Warren, a jail escape, an amnesia case identified as Mrs. Della Foster, and an extended weather outlook with temperature trends and precipitation estimates.

North Center resident cited for dumping near plant on Cony Bleacher
City police investigated an alleged health law violation after a North Center street resident dumped garbage near the Cony Bleacher Plant. George Stanford Jr suffered a fractured left finger moving cases at Corry-dames town Mfg Corp plant. the finger was broken in two places. A Spartansburg Volunteer Pine Company run was made but services were not needed. An overheated chimney in a Spartansburg home triggered an alarm as temperatures ranged from 46 above to 21 above zero.

Alleged slaver held for jury in Jamestown case
Robert Stewart, 95, of Jamestown, held without bail on a mis degree manslaughter charge in the fatal shooting of Rolland J. Frick. He was advanced to a grand jury after arraignment before City Judge Allen E. Bargar. Chief Nelson, who leads the investigation, said Stewart will be examined today. The shooting occurred Sunday at the Stewart home. three others were present, including Edward and Marian Anderson. Treasury report shows Feb 19 position with receipts 180.14 million, expenditures 915.69 million, balance 4.31 billion.

$130,000 Damage Suit Heads to March Term
In Erie on February 24 three combined actions seek a total of $130,000 for one death and injuries to two others. The cases arise from a June 5, 1946 crash at 1th and East Avenue when five year old Jean Marie Dubirski was killed. Defendants include Allied Building Credit Co Inc and George T Foggin Jr of Buffalo, car owner and operator.
