North East youth admits fatal highway crash charges
State Police continue a two pronged probe into the wet road death of David Cook near North East. A 19‑year‑old North East man, Turner, pleaded guilty to failing to stop and identify after his car struck Cook as he lay in the roadway, then fled. Investigators say the driver and passenger Eaton, 18, later notified police. Eaton faces no charges.
