The Erie Engineering Societies council reports foreign export manufactured goods from Erie Crawford Venango and Warren counties will reach 191 200 000 annually by 1964 in a detailed 22 page survey. A port committee meeting of the Greater Erie Chamber of Commerce discussed the study and a further survey to plan harbor readiness. The council estimates 38 000 tons exported in 1955 across the four counties.
