Two Corry disentants appeared to enter guilty pleas to separate charges in Erie county court this morning. Walter Vornink of 122 East Main Street was sentenced to 0 days in Erie county jail on a charge of ASHHIC and burglary arising from a complaint by Burdette Gif ford, also of 122 East Main Street. Gifford charged Vornink. Vornink had been at Elchynski's restaurant on West Main Street and had also threatened him with ireir. In addition to the jail term, Vornink was ordered to pay costs by Judge Elmer Evans. James Smith, 17, of Catherine Street, was placed on two and one half years’ probation by Judge Burton Laub following a guilty plea to a charge of theft. Smith was apprehended by city police after admitting to taking a camera from a car left vacant at the corner of Mill and East South Streets by Fred Mitchell of East South Street.

City youths nabbed in failed attempt to loot store
