The YMCA Ladies Auxiliary discussed a new membership drive at the recent meeting. Chairs are Mrs Frank Smith and Mrs Steven Fogle. Dues are 1 dollar yearly and may be sent to the chairmen or auxiliary officers. Members of the community may join without YMCA membership. President Mrs Donald McCaslin led the session. Mrs James Kelsey read routine reports. Bonnie Hogan was appointed nominating chair. All YMCA members are welcome at the annual board meeting Monday at 7:30 in the main room. homemade pies and coffee will be served.

Grange Hosts Patriotic Program At Corry Grange Hall
Members of Corry Grange met at the Grange Hall on Park Street with master John Decker in charge. After business, Mrs. Leo Gates presented a program with community singing, readings and poems by several members and guests. A candlelight moment recalled Lincoln era light. Refreshments followed. next meeting set for March 8. A new gymnastic class has drawn over 40 children, with plans for junior high age instruction soon.

Twenty members guests and prospective members attended the event organized by Mrs Evelyn Wells and Mrs Shirley Staples. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month.
