Vets Day Restored To November In Pa Legislature
Harrisburg AP reports the Pennsylvania House, by a unanimous vote of 1780, moved to set Veterans Day on November 11, reversing the 1970 move to the fourth Monday in October. Proponents say the October date diluted the memorial purpose and created a long weekend. The measure advances to the Senate.
