Florence Gallagher 52 of Union City died when a coal truck struck her husband Eugene’s car as it emerged onto Route 1 six miles south of Union City. Eugene Gallagher, 56, was injured slightly and taken to Stenm Memorial Hospital in good condition. The truck driver Wendell E Schwab of Venes Pa was unhurt. Traffic halted over an hour as investigators cleared the scene.
