Wounded burglary suspect near death in Mercer County
A 22 year old burglary suspect was shot during a confrontation with police near Trenton New Jersey. Officers reported the suspect collapsed after being struck by gunfire as a patrol car chase ended on Shelian Avenue at Rowleywood. Police said the suspect was taken to a hospital in critical condition and a woman bystander was injured escaping gunfire. Authorities recovered a firearm at the scene and continued the investigation.
